Thursday Evenings – 5:30 to 7 pm – We meet and practice in the public square space in the middle of Parc Girouard. 

In these sessions, the yoga practiced will address the needs of athletes who do impact sports from running, tennis, soccer or any sport that asks an athlete to be both strong and agile.  The class will go through a routine which will first address muscular tension and asymmetry. The exercises will be practiced which improve posture and core strength activation to aid in coordination and explosive action. Each session will end in a guided relaxation to aid in recovery, focus and mental balance.

We have three more sessions on September 19th, 2019 in Parc Girouard.  Enjoy practicing in the beauty of nature. Plus reap the benefits of practicing releasing and rebalancing your body to help all the athletic activities you love.

Fee: pwyc,  suggested fee is $10

Please bring your own yoga mat, blanket and a towel. As the evenings are getting a bit cooler, please bring something warm for the relaxation portion of the class. From September 26th onwards, these classes will happen at Atelier Soma in NDG.
