The four sublime states or emotions are qualities of mind that we cultivate in order to alleviate the suffering we experience in everyday life and to feel more connected to others. They are called the brahma viharas, which means “the dwelling place of awakened beings”. Over six sessions, Allison will guide you through meditations and contemplation practices of metta (lovingkindness), karuna (compassion), mudita (empathetic joy), and upekkha (equanimity). Come explore these heart centring and healing aspects of mindfulness meditation.

For over 20 years, Allison Ulan has been creating courses where people embody the practices of vipassana (insight) meditation and mindful living. Come benefit from her experience and knowledge this Spring.

Sundays, May 19th to June 16th, 2019 – 5:15 pm to 6:30 pm

Fees: by donation, suggested amount is $10 to support both Allison and the yoga studio.
