This 6 week course is your opportunity to practice the traditional yoga postures infused with the best techniques of functional anatomy and somatic movement. Discover smart, fun and effective ways to improve your posture, flexibility, strength, agility and focus.

Course Dates: Thursday evenings – July 9th to August 20th, 2020 – 6:30 pm to 8 pm (No class on August 6th.)

This course will provide you with the fundamentals of Vinyasa Krama Yoga blended with the therapeutics of somatic movement. In each class, you are guided through postures and exercises step-by-step with clear explanations of the postures (āsanas) and breathing exercises (prāṇāyāma). You will learn the key anatomical alignment to relieve back tension, increase mobility of the spine, calm the nervous system and naturally increase strength. Plus, you will be introduced to the basic form of mindfulness meditation.

This course is open to anyone who is completely new to yoga, new to the Vinyasa Krama Yoga method or anyone who would like to go back to the basics. The course is structured over 6 sessions.

Fee: by donation during the Covid-19 measures. No one will be turned away for lack of funds due to financial insecurity. Before the pandemic the regular fee for Drop ins was $10 to $16 plus taxes per class. The regular fee for this course is  $70 plus taxes.
